National Forests.

Wyoming is home to eight national forests within its borders, four of which extend into the southwest portion of the state.

Located in the western part of the state, the Bridger-Teton alone offers more than 3.4 million acres of public land for outdoor recreation.

 

National Parks.

The National Park Service manages seven areas throughout the state of Wyoming, but by far the most popular are the Grand Teton and Yellowstone national parks in the northwest region of the state. Both are easily accessible to or from Southwest Wyoming!
